Mr Thompson
All About Me...
My name is Mr Thompson. I have been a teacher at Collierley Nursery and Primary School for four years now.
I always wanted to be a teacher as I was inspired by my Mam who is a Headteacher.
I have taught in years three and four and am looking forward to teaching in year six this year.
My Story
I am lead teacher for PE and love keeping fit physically and mentally. I like watching and playing football. I enjoy spending time with children in school as well, playing football and other games.
I am passionate about active learning and making sure that children are not sitting at their desks but keeping active whether indoors or outdoors.
Two years ago I qualified as a Level 3 Forest School leader, so you will often see me outdoors building dens, lighting fires and using tools with the children.
When I am not at work, I also like spending time with my family, going for runs and walks and playing games.
