I am originally from Dipton and attended Collierley Primary School myself many years ago. After studying Bio-archaeology at Newcastle University, I completed my Post Graduate teaching qualification and became a teacher of Maths, teaching adults in various family centres throughout County Durham.  My son and daughter attend Collierley School and have benefited from an excellent standard of formal education as well as a high standard of social and emotional development.  I have always been a strong supporter of the school and hope to continue to do so through my work as a governor.
